Due to popular demand I am now offering mosaic courses from my home in Hythe. Spaces are limited to 2 people per course to enable personal tuition. The courses I have run so far had participants who didn’t know each other previously but left as friends. The day runs from 10.30 – 4.30 and includes a vegetarian lunch. Course notes and materials for your mosaic are provided. The cost per person is £125.00. If you would like further information please email me.
The photograph above is of a community mosaic which can be seen at St Peter on the East Cliff church in Folkestone. My design celebrated the traditional blessing of the fisheries held in June every year. The fishing boat in the foreground is carried to the harbour in procession for the service.

August 2016 I’m enjoying the freedom to explore my textile work now that I’m no longer at the shop but I’m still available for commissions and community mosaics. The image above is from the recently finished Kingsdown and Ringwould Church of England Primary School mosaic and makes a cheerful entrance to the school. The design was created from the children’s ideas and each child was able to place several tiles in the mosaic. My next commission is a lottery funded heritage mosaic for St Peter on the East Cliff Church in Folkestone. The PCC were unanimously in favour of the design I submitted and I hope to start work on it soon. Images of the work in progress will appear on their website. |

August 2015 My hands have finally reached the age where I cannot work for so long at a time on my mosaics. I have a delightful penguin commission and a public commission for the Globe and Laurel project in Walmer to keep me busy but after this I will be closing the shop in September. |
